Le Cheile Art and Film Expos
Le Cheile Art Expo
Le Cheile means ‘together’ in Irish. Our exhibition brings together local artists from a range of media (visual, music, performance) into one space for one afternoon to exhibit and perform their work alongside our Arts & Culture gap year students.
Covid-19 restrictions meant that this year’s Le Cheile was different. To connect with the world we broadcast the student’s exhibition online on IGTV through our Instagram and Facebook pages.
Our upcoming spring ’22 Le Cheile expo is on Sunday 15th of May at 5.30pm GMT/12.30pm EST which we will broadcast live on our Instagram (@irishgapyear). Be sure to check out our previous expos in the links below or on our You Tube Channel.

Student Film Expo
Our students work alongside our experienced film tutor Edwin Mullane for the duration of the program, to conceptualise, write, direct, produce and star in their own film. At the end of our Fall Program we held our first film premier in the local Eclipse Cinema Bundoran to give the students the opportunity to show their films to a wider audience. This is now a great highlight in the program for all our students. You can take a look at some of their films below.
