Fun, Foraging, Gin Cocktails & a Sing Song… just another day in the Irish Gap Year House. Whitehill Eco Farm treated our Gappers to an awesome day out foraging for wild berries. Sloes, Blackberries, Rosehips and Haws were just a few of the wild berries that are on offer in the hedge rows of the Wild Atlantic Way. Great for making jams to keep the scurvy away in mid winter!! Great news is you can mix with water to create beautiful juice which can be enjoyed on its own or with Bernadette’s favourite tipple Gin, to make an amazingly fruity Gin cocktail.
