Hi everyone! Week 5 here in Ireland was spent in Galway. It was nice to be able to explore the city with some free time, there are so many cool and unique stores to explore. We visited some cafes, bookstores, and thrift shops. The next day we were headed to the Aran Islands, and we spent the day biking through beautiful scenery and then hiking up to some cliffs. It was really nice being able to connect to nature and finding time to sketch on the cliffs was incredible. We also visited the GAlway City Museum and learned about the history of Ireland and Galway specifically. IGY also made things fun by turning our visit to the museum into a little scavenger hunt! Nights in Galway were well spent, we would visit a few pubs, and on our last night we grabbed some dinner and had a little picnic in Eyre Square. The rest of the week was spent doing workshops with our tutors. Working in Bundrowes is always so peaceful and being able to practice art with a beautiful view is so nice.
